Today is a Black Friday. You will start in Block 2 today.
There will be no school on Monday, September 2nd. Have a safe three day weekend.
Today is "Splash A Teacher" at lunch time.
Tuesday, September 3 will be your first magazine turn in day.
Powell Jazz Band auditions are Thursday, September 5. See Mrs. Jenkins for details.
Golf Club starts next week. See Mr. Genson in Room 344 for details.

Today is a Black Thursday and you will start in your CORE Plus class this morning!

8th grade parents: The time to act is now.....the Washington DC trip is filling up fast. Informational meeting will be held tonight, Thursday, August 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria.

"Student Safety" is our utmost concern! Be patient while dropping students off and picking up students. All students who are dropped off, must use specified crosswalks.
Students who ride bikes or skateboards, please dismount as you enter onto school property. Thank you.
Parents: Do you have a son/daughter who is in 8th grade and is already wondering what high school is all about. On the Powell Website, Click on the "Counseling" button, then click on "High School Shadowing opportunities" and follow the links from there. Please call our attendance office and let us know that your student will be going to a shadow day. The high schools do not report back to us on who attends. Thank you
