We've made it through another week, Pumas! Students, have a fun Friday and a fabulous weekend. Parents and guardians, consider heading back to Powell this evening from 5-7 to speak with the LPS Long Range Planning Committee about possible changes to school start times.

Wow, what a Thursday we have in store for us here at Powell!  Jump Rope club jumps into the action early this morning, meeting before school.  Our postponed 7th Grade Honor Roll assembly takes place at 8 am in the Cafetorium.  All 3 grade levels have track this afternoon, with 6th and 8th grade staying here to practice and 7th grade heading to Goddard for a meet.  Art Club is also meeting, and the Thursday Golf Club concludes their season with a tournament.  It's a great day to be a Puma!

It's a terribly busy Tuesday here at Powell... Tuesday Morning Fitness club meets at 7:15 this morning, we welcome Prospective Parents at 9:15 and this afternoon we have 7th grade track practice, Homework Club, Jazz Band and our 8th grade track team welcoming Newton for a meet. It's a busy day to be a Puma!

This Thursday morning we have our second PTO meeting of the year here at 9:30- parents and guardians are all members of our PTO and are therefore welcome to join us! This afternoon we have 7th grade track practice, Art Club and Golf Club.  It's a great day to be a Puma!

Students, smile for the camera... today we have picture retakes during lunches.  After lunch, and school, 6th grade track starts and 8th grade track practices, while MathCounts meets for the first time this year.  Have a whimsical Wednesday!

TMF- Tuesday Morning Fitness Club gets a jump start on the day with a 7 am workout today. We'll keep the energy up here at school so that our 8th grade track team is ready for their meet here after school versus Goddard- go Pumas!  Homework Club will also be meeting here after school.  Have an energized day!

Let's Kick it!! We hope you'll all be joining us this afternoon for a fun-filled community event- our 2nd annual Kicking It Old School Kickball Tournament.  Join us from 3:30-7 this evening for lawn games, kickball, fun, and food trucks!  It is an event not to be missed!
