Happy Leap Day! This "extra" day is a busy one... it's a White Week Schedule, 8th Grade Strings has a field trip today, as does Keep it Green Club.  After school, both Mind Craft and Builder's Club meet.  This evening is the 7th and 8th Grade District Strings festival.  Have a lovely Leap Day!

Happy Friday-eve ;)  Today, Thursday the 25th, we have 6th Grade Basketball practice and Homework Club after school.  Rubik's Cube Club is CANCELLED for today.  And we have another musical evening here, as our 6th Grade Vocals and 7th Grade Chorus perform a concert tonight at 7.

Welcome to our late start Wednesday!  Buses run exactly 2 hours later this morning, and please note there is NO late run bus this afternoon so plan accordingly.  Students interested in participating in this year's Hoops for Heart- today is the final day to turn in your registration forms!  This evening we have our 6th and 7th Grade Strings concert at 7 pm- please join us for a great night of music!

It's Tuesday, and Tuesdays are always busy here at Powell!  6th Grade Basketball practices this afternoon, and both Art Club and Homework Club meet.  Later this evening, head back to school for the 6th Grade Band concert at 6:30, followed by the 7th Grade Band concert at 7:30.  Finally, please remember that tomorrow is a PLC Late Start Wednesday.  We'll see you at 9:54 tomorrow morning!

Good Monday Morning!  NJHS kicks off their Pennies for Patients Drive this morning- empty those pockets and piggy banks and donate to a great cause.  6th Grade Basketball Practices after school, and Color Guard and MindCraft meet as well.  Have a nice Monday!

It's the third Thursday of the month, so it's time for our monthly PTO meeting here at 9 am.  This evening we have Teacher-initiated conferences from 3:30-7.  Your student's teacher will have contacted you if they needed or wanted to meet with you this evening... Finally, it's State Competition time for our TSA club.  Have a terrific Thursday!

Wow, it's already Wednesday!  We have a lot going on here after school today... 6th Grade Basketball practices and Book Buzz, MathCounts and TSA all meet.  The LPS Jazz Festival Showase takes place today from 3-8 pm at Goddard.  Have a wild Wednesday!

Head over to Brickyard BBQ today for a Powell PTO Restaurant Day, when 20% of sales from 11 am- 8 pm will come back to Powell.  Students can also head to Homework Club this afternoon, and the 8th Grade Basketball Semis begin today.

Hello Thursday!  Our 8th Grade Honor Roll Assembly will take place today at 8 am.  This event was rescheduled after Tuesday's school closure.  Today after school our 8th Grade Basketball team welcomes Options.  Rubik's Cube Club and Color Guard also meet, and Follies Act 2 has rehearsal.
