Or, send them to school so they can welcome another group of Prospective Pumas, and then participate in our after-school activities, like 8th Grade Volleyball semifinals, the Goddard versus Powell chess match here, Homework Club or Cross Country Club! It's a great day to be a Puma!

Welcome to Wednesday! It's a quiet one as we send our 8th Grade Girls Volleyball teams off to Semifinals- go Pumas!  There is NO late run bus today after school though so be prepared.

Today is Tuesday, April 25th and the beginning of a Short WHITE Week here.  We kick off our day with another group of Elementary School Visitors- welcome!  After school we have lots of fun activities- ColorGuard, Jazz Band, Homework Club and Cross Country (XC) Club.

Today is Tuesday, and a fun one here!  We welcome out first round of Elementary Schools for visits today at 9:30.  After school our 8th Grade Volleyball teams head to Euclid for a match- let's go Pumas!  Sticking around Powell are Homework Club, Jazz Band (only until 3:30 today) and Cross Country (XC) Club.  Have a tremendous Tuesday!

It's finally Friday- we made it through the week!  And, once we wrap up our CMAS and Maps testing sessions today we will have made it through this year's assessments!  Work hard today Pumas so you can play hard this weekend!

CMAS Science (8th Grade) and Maps Testing begin today so don't forget those Chromebooks!  After a long day of testing and classes, students (and staff!) are sure to appreciate our quiet afternoon- we can all head to the gym after school to support the 8th Grade Volleyball teams as they welcome Euclid.  It's a great (quiet) day to be a Puma!

Another day with just your average White Week schedule (Blocks 1-7), and another day of Volleyball after school- this time, it's 8th Grade sticking around to practice here.  MathCounts also meets today.  Students, please make sure to bring your CHARGED Chromebooks to school tomorrow for CMAS and Maps testing. It's Tuesday, and it's a modified White Week schedule today as our 6th Graders finish up their PARCC tests with the last ELA unit.  We'll be ready for a fun afternoon as it's the 8th Grade Volleyball teams turn to welcome Newton, while 7th Grade Volleyball sticks around to practice.  Jazz Band and HW Club both meet, while Cross Country Club kicks off their running season.  Have a terrific Tuesday!

One week of April down, 3 more to go!  This modified WHITE week kicks off with a Short Week Monday schedule (Blocks 1-7) as we have a break from testing.  After school our 7th Grade Volleyball teams welcome the Newton Knights- go Pumas!  We stay busy here at Powell with Art Club, the final Builders Club meeting of the year, and Color Guard.  Have a monstrously fun Monday!

Happy Friday!  We've (amost!) made it through our first week of PARCC/CMAS testing here at Powell- today we take the ELA Unit 3 tests until 9:50 this morning, then go through a quick round of all classes (Blocks 1-7).  You deserve a restful and relaxing weekend, Pumas!

Happy Testing Thursday! We begin our day with ELA Unit 2, then go Blocks 5,6,7, then finish our day with Math Unit 3. After school today, 8th Grade Volleyball practices.  This evening we welcome our prospective Pumas for a tour at 6 and Incoming Parent Orientation at 6:30.

It's another White Wednesday, and another day of short classes and CMAS tests.  After we make it through those, we have 8th Grade Volleyball Practice and our monthly PAC meeting.  This evening we welcome prospective Pumas for our annual Instrumental Music Screening night.  Let's have a wonderful Wednesday!

We kick off our Tuesday here with our first session of CMAS/PARCC testing.  Please make sure your student has their charged Chromebook and headphones for testing.  After tests and classes today, 7th Grade Volleyball practices here, while 8th Grade Volleyball heads to Goddard for their games.  And, Jazz Band makes music here this afternoon.
