It's Thursday, the last day of our short week, and the last day before we leave for Winter Break.  Our students get to enjoy holiday concerts this morning, and a variety of fun activities to celebrate the end of semester.  We hope you have a very happy holiday season and a wonderful winter break! Welcome, Wednesday!  We're almost to the end of our short week here.  Jazz Band rehearses today after school, but please note there is NO late run bus today.  Jazz Band members return to Powell for their concert this evening at 6:30, followed by our Puma Band concert at 7:30. Get ready for a busy Tuesday here at Powell! 8th Grade Boys Basketball practices after school and the following clubs meet: Brain Bowl, Comic Book and Homework.  This evening, our 6th grade band concert takes place at 6:30, while our 7th grade band concert is at 7:30.  Have a tremendous Tuesday!

It's the beginning of the end... the first day of our last week of school (for 1st semester ;) This Monday, we follow a WHITE schedule during the day.  After school, 7th grade boys basketball has practice, Jazz Band rehearses and Science Peer Tutoring meets.  This evening, our 7th and 8th grade guitar concerts take place at 6:30 and 7:30, respectively.  Have a magnificent Monday!

We're thankful it's Thursday! 8th Grade Boys Basketball practices after school and Homework Club meets.  This evening we have our 6th and 7th grade vocals concert at 6 pm, followed by our Jazz and Ladies Select choirs performing at 7:30.  Have a thrilling Thursday!

It's a PLC Late Start Wednesday, so students, sleep in today! NJHS and Student Council both meet this morning, StuCO at 9:15 and NJHS at 9:30, then after school, MathCounts and Science Tutors meet. We also have our monthly PAC meeting here at 3 pm. Have a wild Wednesday!

Today is Tuesday, December 6th, and we have a busy afternoon here. Let's cheer on our 8th Grade Girls Basketball team as they play in the semifinals today- go Pumas! It's Black and Yellow here today... this Monday is the beginning of a Black Week here, and also the first day of our Yellow Ribbon Week. Students will be learning more about suicide awareness and prevention during this important week.  This afternoon, 8th Grade Girls Basketball practices, Art Club meets and Science Peer Tutoring happens.
