TGIT- Thank Goodness it's Thursday!  And, it's our last day of school for the semester!  We kick off our morning with our Holiday Assemblies, then end of semester celebration activities.  We'll attempt to get down to business around 10, and follow that same 1-7 schedule for the day.  We hope you have a very happy holiday season, and we look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018!

Welcome to our Wednesday Wonderland!  We will still follow a 1-7 schedule today, even with our late start added in... After school today Jazz Band will rehearse for their concert (tonight at 6), but please note there are NO late run buses available.  Stick around after watching our Jazz Band perform, as our 7th grade Black Band plays at 6:45, followed by our 8th grade Maroon Band at 7:30.

Hey, hey, it's Thursday! And it's an exciting one today...PTO spoils our staff with their annual Cookie Exchange- thanks to our parents who bake and bring so many yummy treats for this fun day! Homework Club meets and 7th grade boys have basketball practice after school, and then later in the evening, 7th and 8th grade guitar concerts take place at 6:30 and 7:30, respectively.

We welcome our Prospective Parents for another Tuesday tour at 9:15 this morning.  Later on, 8th grade boys basketball kicks off their season with their first practice, and a lot of clubs are meeting: Brain Bowl, Jazz Band, Chess and Homework. Much later on, Orchestra has a concert here, starting at 7 pm. It's a great Tuesday to be a Puma!

After school today both 7th and 8th grade girls have basketball practice, but they'll need to make some room in the gym for wrestling practice.  Outside of the gym, rocket club will be meeting. It's the last day of our short week- whoo hoo! After an action-packed Tuesday we move to a slower pace here today... with Student-led conferences happening today from 4-7:30 (doors close at 7) we have no after school activities or late run bus scheduled, so please plan accordingly.  Students should also plan on attending conferences with their parents this evening, as there are no appointments necessary, just a time for students and parents to join their teachers for conversations about the start of the school year.  Though we do have conferences Thursday morning as well, we encourage our 7th and 8th grade students to attend tonight, as many of your teachers will be chaperones on this week's D.C Trip, and as such, will not be at Thursday conferences.

Welcome to the 2017-18 school year!  We look forward to seeing our newest Pumas, the 6th grade class, today from 7:55-2:50.  Our 7th and 8th graders get to sleep in a bit- we'll see you all at 9:55! Buses will be running for all grades today, at the regular times for 6th grade and then exactly 2 hours later for 7th and 8th.  Don't bring school supplies tomorrow, just yourselves, your lunch (or lunch money) and something to write with and on.  It's a great day to be a Puma!

We are looking forward to seeing our 6th graders and our NEW 7th/8th graders here this morning for our annual PRIDE day!  6th grade PRIDE is from 9-11 and 7th/8th grade PRIDE is from 9-10:30. Parents do not stay with their students for PRIDE, just plan on dropping off an picking up out front this morning.  We'll see everyone else tomorrow for the first day of school- 6th grade from 7:55-2:50 and 7th/8th grade from 9:55-2:50.

We have a fun-filled (and whip cream filled) day ahead of us as we rotate through different activities, including tossing pies in the faces of our teachers!  We dismiss at the regular time of 2:43 today, and buses are running as normal.  Have a fantastic last Friday, and a safe summer!
