Hey, it's Thursday!  Our PTO meets this morning at 9:30- parents and guardians, you're all members of our PTO and welcome to attend.  Due to teacher initiated conferences after school today there are NO after school athletics or activities, which also means there is NO late run bus, so plan accordingly kiddos!

Welcome to our busy Wednesday!  Powell hosts the district spelling bee today from 2-8 pm, in our cafeteria- good luck to all participants!  Both 6th and 7th grade basketball practices after school, and our 8th grade C team heads to Euclid for the semifinals.  Cube Melters, TSA and Powell Players all meet, and for grown ups, the monthly PAC meeting takes place at 3 pm in the Media Center.  Have a wonderful Wednesday!

8th Grade basketball is at it again today, this time welcoming Goddard after school.  Homework Club meets, Powell Players rehearse and Jazz Band rehearses this afternoon in preparation for the LPS Jazz Showcase tonight at Goddard.  Have a terrific Tuesday!

Hey, it's Monday! And it's a fun day!  Our 8th grade FACS classes get a special treat today when they head out to lunch for an Indian food buffet- yum.  After school, our 7th grade boys basketball teams travel to Euclid, while our 8th grade boys basketball teams stay here to play Euclid- go Pumas!  Gamer's Club also meets, and both Jazz Band and Powell Players rehearse.

This Thursday is quite a busy day here... 7th grade basketball practices here after school, while 8th grade heads over to Newton for their games.  The following clubs meet: TSA, Homework and Art Club.  It's also the final day of play auditions, from 3-5 pm.  Busy day!  We deserve some chili!  Lucky for us, tonight is Powell's first Chili Cook Off!  Join us tonight at 6 for some food and fun!
