It's finally Friday!  Today is our final day observing Yellow Ribbon Week... wear Yellow today!  It's also our final day before our Fall Break; please enjoy the week off, spend time with your friends and family and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

It's a busy Thursday here at Powell!  NJHS has an activity at 8 am and PTO meets at 9 am.  This afternoon, 8th Grade Girls Basketball welcomes Goddard and Wrestling heads out for a meet against Newton/Euclid.  Homework Club, Mindcraft club and Rubik's Cube Club all meet as well.  It's a great day to be a Puma!

Happy Hump Day!  Today is a PLC Late Start Wednesday, so school begins at 9:54  and buses will run exactly 2 hours later this morning.  Our Yellow Ribbon Week activities continue at lunch time today.  Please note, there is NO late run bus today so plan accordingly.

Happy Tuesday!  We continue with our Yellow Ribbon activities today.  We have Parent Tours this morning and lots of activities this afternoon: Jazz Band, Art Club, Homework Club and Wrestling Practice.  Please remember that tomorrow is a PLC Late Start Wednesday... School starts at 9:54 and buses will run exactly 2 hours later.

Today our 2nd group of 7th Graders head to International Towne.  After school, our wrestlers head to Goddard for a meet.  8th Grade Girls Basketball Practice has been CANCELLED today.  Homework Club, Minecraft Club and Rubik's Cube Club all meet after school.  Have a terrific Thursday!

Happy Veteran's Day!  We thank our veterans and active duty military for their service! Our 6th Grade will be honoring our Veterans with various activities and celebrations throughout the day.  8th Grade Girls Basketball practices today and our 6th Grade Wrestlers head to Newton for a Wrestling Festival. This evening, our current 7th Graders are invited to attend an informational meeting about the opportunity to go on the Washington D.C. trip as 8th Graders.  This meeting starts at 6 pm in the cafeteria.

It's a busy Tuesday here at Powell... our first group of 7th Graders embark for International Towne today, while our 6th Grade Band and Orchestra will enjoy a trip to the Colorado Symphony. After school, 8th Grade Girls Basketball welcomes Options, Wrestling practices, and the following clubs meet: Art, Homework and Jazz Band.  Finally, join us at Chipotle this evening to refuel after your busy day and 50% of all proceeds will come back here to Powell.  See you tonight!
