It's totally Tuesday, and we're totally ready for a busy afternoon here at Powell. Both Jazz Band and HW Club meet, and 8th Grade Track welcomes Newton for the second meet of the season. This evening, head to Chipotle for our first fundraising night of the year- tell your cashier you're with Powell and 50% of your total comes back to us. Have a totally great Tuesday!

Come enjoy dinner at Chipotle (Dry Creek and University location) on Tuesday, September 27th, between 4:30-8 Please print and bring in the Chipotle flyer, show it on your smartphone, or tell the cashier you're supporting the cause to make sure that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Powell Middle School.

Are you ready for some kickball??!! Today's the day... the Powell Village Community Kickball event takes place from 3:30-7 here at Powell. Kickball teams will be competing, lawn games can be played by anyone, and food trucks will be serving sandwiches and funnel cakes to all! It's an event not to be missed, so see you tonight!

Friday, Funday...It's Kickball Tourney Time!

The First Annual "Kicking It Old School" Kickball Tournament is THIS week!! We still have space for kickball teams if you want to create a last minute team. Sign-up packets can be picked up in the attendance office, but need to be turned in by Wednesday at 3 pm. If kickball's not your thing, there will be FUNNEL CAKES, lawn games, socializing, and food trucks! Everyone is welcome.  The event will run from 4:00 - 7:00 this Friday, September 23. Can't wait to see everyone there!

Are you ready for some kickball?? If so, you're in luck! Join us here at Powell on Friday, September 23rd from 3:30-7 for a community kickball tournament. Fun will be had, and food will be sold by food trucks! Teams must have 11-15 players and must be a combination of students, family members and at least 1 Powell staff member. Students- pick up the sign-up packets from the Main Office. Completed packets must be in by Monday, September 19th! Let's kick it, old school!

Get ready for a busy Thursday here at Powell... the 8th Grade Honor Roll ceremony takes place at 8 am in the cafeteria- parents and guardians are welcome to attend and celebrate our Honor Roll recipients! Our monthly PTO meeting takes place at 9 am. After school we have Golf Club, Homework Club and Rubik's Cube Club. We also have 6th grade Volleyball practice, 7th grade Track practice and our first 8th grade track meet of the season takes place at Newton.
