Welcome to our first PLC Late Start Wednesday! School begins at 9:54 this morning, and buses will be running exactly 2 hours later. After our shorter day we'll have 6th grade Volleyball and 7th/8th grade Track. Have a wild Wednesday!

Today is Tuesday, August 30th, and here's what's happening... Jazz Band will be holding auditions for the Rhythm Section after school. This evening, it's Back to School Night! Parents please plan on joining us at 6 pm for an athletic meeting (if interested in learning about the athletic programs here), and 6:30 pm for BTS Night. We hope to see all of our Powell parents here tonight!

Good morning! It's Monday, August 29th and the beginning of a BLACK week here. That means we have our first PLC Late Start Wednesday (8/31) this week, when classes start at 9:54. This afternoon we have 6th Grade Volleyball, 7th and 8th Grade Track, and Golf Club. Students who want to play volleyball or run track, come to the gym by 3, dressed and ready to play or run!

Clubs and Athletics Beginning Monday, August 29th!

It's time to kick off the first clubs and athletics of the school year. Beginning Monday, August 29th, is 6th Grade Volleyball, 7th and 8th Grade Track and Golf Club. Volleyball and track are open to all interested students- simply come to the gym by 3 pm Monday, dressed and ready to run! Golf Club is open to the first 24 students who register to golf with either the Monday or Thursday club. Check out our Calendars page for athletics info and practice schedules. We made it through our first week of school! This Friday we are still on our Modified White Week, starting in CORE Plus, then going Blocks 1-7. Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

We're thankful it's Thursday! We've almost made it through our first full week of school for 2016-17. Today we follow the modified WHITE Week schedule again, CORE Plus, then blocks 1-7. This morning we have our first PTO Meeting of the school year- parents and guardians are welcome to join us for the meeting at 9 am. Have a great Thursday!

Don't forget to bring your signed Chromebook RUP- in order to get your Chromebook tomorrow that form needs to be in the office by this afternoon! All students report for a full Friday (7:54-2:43) and students, please note we are following a Modified White Week schedule, meaning you will start in CORE Plus today and then head to 1st block. Thursday, August 18th, 2016- 1st Day of School!

We're back! Welcome to the 2016-17 School Year! A few notes about today's schedule: 6th graders have a full school day (7:54-2:43) while 7th and 8th graders have a late-start day (9:54-2:43). Buses will be running for both groups, at normal morning pick up times for 6th graders, and then again exactly 2 hours later for our 7th and 8th graders. It's a great day to be a Puma!

Good morning Pumas! Today our incoming 6th graders join us from 9-11 for PRIDE Orientation. They'll spend most of their morning outside, so hats, sunglasses, sunscreen and water bottles are welcome. NEW 7th and 8th graders have their PRIDE Orientation here from 9-10:30, and they'll be outside as well. We'll see everyone else tomorrow at 9:54!
