Students participating in our Sources of Strength program today are in for a full day of training (and probably a little bit of fun, too...)  After school we don't have any scheduled activities, so we don't have any late run buses.

Basketball, homework and auditions- oh my!  6th grade basketball practices, and 8th grade basketball plays at Euclid; Homework club meets, and it's our first day of play auditions, from 3-5 pm (no late bus will run at 5).  Have a great Tuesday!

Happy Monday Morning!  We welcome our last round of parents for a Prospective Parent Tour at 9:15 this morning.  This afternoon, 7th grade basketball has their first game, welcoming the Newton Knights here- let's go 7th Grade Pumas!  Jazz Band also meets here this afternoon.

Another day, another Honor Roll Assembly here at Powell.  This morning, we honor our 7th grade recipients- congrats!  After school, our 8th grade boys basketball team welcomes Newton and the following clubs meet: Art, Homework, and the new Cursive Club.

Our Tuesday begins with our 6th Grade Honor Roll Assembly at 8 am- congratulations to our honor roll recipients!  Our Tuesday ends with Homework Club and our 8th grade boys basketball team taking on Options here.  It's a great day to be a Puma!

Surprisingly enough, it's the 22nd of January and the first Monday of second semester.  This Monday we have 6th Grade Basketball Practice, Gamer's Club and Jazz Band.  Later this Monday we have a Parent Info Meeting regarding our Spring Play- thespians and their guardians should plan on joining us at 7pm.

Feeling adventurous this Thursday?  We are!  We start our day with an assembly for our 8th graders- Adventures in Arts.  We end our day with 6th grade basketball practice, Art Club and Homework Club.

Our late start Wednesday is an earlier start for our Student Council members, who have a meeting at 8:30 this morning.  Everyone else, we'll see you at 8:55!  7th grade basketball has practice after school and our annual GeoBee takes place at 3 pm- good luck to our competitors!

We're back after a long(er) weekend away... hope you all enjoyed the extra day off of school!  We start our day with our last Prospective Parent Tour of the year, at 9:15.  We wrap up the day with our 8th grade boys basketball team heading to Goddard for a game, our 6th grade basketball season starting with a practice here, and Brain Bowl meets.

We're halfway through our first week back at school (not hard to do since it's a short week ;).  After school, 7th grade boys basketball practices, Rubiks Cube Club meets and we have our monthly PAC Meeting.

Welcome back!  We hope you had a restful and restorative Winter Break!  We kick off second semester with 8th grade boys basketball practice and a couple of clubs happening: Brain Bowl and Jazz Band.

Winter Break is almost over... we look forward to seeing you back here bright and early tomorrow morning, that's Tuesday, January 9th, for the start of second semester!  We'll begin our day tomorrow by following our regular Tuesday schedule, which means CORE Plus, followed by blocks 7- 4.  Don't forget to follow your second semester (or 3rd quarter for 6th graders) schedules, which are available to view in Infinite Campus.  See you tomorrow!
