Let's make some music this Thursday!  We welcome incoming 6th graders this morning for a Music Assembly at 9:30, giving them the chance to learn about the music programs available in middle school.  Also happening today- 8th grade girls volleyball welcomes Options for their second game of the season, and the following clubs meet: Homework, Cursive, Art and Powell Players.

Happy Friday Eve!  This Thursday we have our monthly PTO meeting at 9:30 am- every parent and guardian is a member of PTO and welcome to attend.  After school, we have Art Club, Cursive Club, Homework Club and Play Rehearsal.  Have a terrific Thursday!

Happy Wednesday!  Taking place today is Play Rehearsal, and later in the evening the 6th grade guitar concert at 6:15 pm, followed by the 6th and 7th grade orchestra concert at 7 pm.

Today is Tuesday, and taking place here today is: the first 8th grade girls volleyball game of the season takes place here, versus Newton; clubs meeting are 6th Grade Choir Club, Homework Club and Powell Players; and concerts tonight are 6th grade band at 6 pm, and 7th grade band and choir at 7 pm.

Get ready to get your monochromatic groove on, Pumas! Our short, Spirit Week finishes today with Black and White Dress, and a Black and White Dance after school from 3-4 pm.  Remember, there is No School tomorrow so enjoy your 3 day weekend!

Time to Hero Up! Spirit Week continues with Super Hero day today...  Heroes, please note that since there are NO after school activities (so NO late bus) due to Student Led Conferences.  Parents, please plan on bringing your student(s) between 4-7 tonight to talk with our teachers.  Tomorrow is our last day of this short week, and we wrap up Spirit Week with Black and White Clothing day, in preparation for the Black and White Ball after school (i.e., the all school dance from 3-4 pm).

Are we seeing double this Tuesday, or is it just Twin Day here at Powell? ;) Spirit Week rolls on, tomorrow is Super Hero Day (no masks, Heroes...).  After school today, 7th grade volleyball practices, and the following clubs meet: Builders, Homework, Jazz Band, Powell Players, and our new 6th grade Choir Club.  Have a tremendous Tuesday, Twins!

We've got Spirit, yes we do!  We kick off our Spring Spirit Week today with Crayon Day- dress all in one color today.  And tomorrow, make plans for Twin Day (find a friend to dress alike).  After our colorful school day we have 8th grade girls volleyball practice, Gamer's Club and Play Rehearsal.  This evening is the District Orchestra Festival at LHS at 7 pm- go enjoy some wonderful music!
