Welcome to Wednesday!  After our slightly shorter day (thanks to our weekly Wednesday late starts) we have 8th grade track practice and 6th grade volleyball practice.  Have a wonderful Wednesday, Pumas!

Don't forget to join us this evening for Back to School Night!  We have an Athletics meeting taking place just prior, from 6-6:30 and Back to School Night running from 6:30-8:30.  This night is intended for Parents/Guardians only- thank you!  Leave your students at home, but bring a copy of their schedules as you'll spend the evening rotating through their schedule.  We'll see you tonight!

Today is Monday, August 28th and we're starting our 7th grade track season today after school.  7th graders interested in running this year should plan on being in Room 3048 after school to meet your coaches.  And parents, please plan on joining us for Back to School Night tomorrow from 6:30-8:30, with an athletic meeting taking place just prior, from 6-6:30. It's Friday!  Congrats on making it through the first full week of school! We already have a field trip here today- our Yearbook staff is heading off to a workshop at Laredo Middle School.  Have fun out there Yearbook staffers!

It's Chromebook Distribution Day!  Students, please remember to have your student IDs with you this morning in order to speed up the checkout process for you all.  Parents, our first PTO meeting of the school year is today at 9:30 in the Main Office Conference Room.  And 8th graders interested in running track this year, your season begins today after school.  Meet your coaches after school today in the gym, dressed and ready to run!

Welcome to Wednesday, and the first late start day of our school year!  Please remember that EVERY Wednesday is now a late start Wednesday, meaning school starts at 8:55, and buses run exactly one hour later.  We'll see you all here at 8:55!

We made it through Eclipse Monday, to total sunshine Tuesday ;)  Our first sport of the school year is starting today after school- 6th graders interested in playing Volleyball for Powell should plan on staying after school today, dressed and ready to play Volleyball!  Practice goes until 4 pm.  Have a terrific Tuesday!

Welcome back for our first full week of school!  Things are already in full swing around here as we get ready to kick off our athletics season, with 6th grade Volleyball starting TOMORROW after school.  Interested 6th graders should plan on joining us in the gym tomorrow right after school, dressed and ready to play- coaches will send home all of the required info with players. Have a magnificent Monday!

It's Friday, and our second day of school.  All students come today from 7:55-2:50 and the schedule for all students today is CORE Plus, then Blocks 1-7.  Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Thursday, August 17th, 2017- First Day of School!

Welcome to the 2017-18 school year!  We look forward to seeing our newest Pumas, the 6th grade class, today from 7:55-2:50.  Our 7th and 8th graders get to sleep in a bit- we'll see you all at 9:55! Buses will be running for all grades today, at the regular times for 6th grade and then exactly 2 hours later for 7th and 8th.  Don't bring school supplies tomorrow, just yourselves, your lunch (or lunch money) and something to write with and on.  It's a great day to be a Puma!

Wednesday, August 16th- PRIDE Day!

We are looking forward to seeing our 6th graders and our NEW 7th/8th graders here this morning for our annual PRIDE day!  6th grade PRIDE is from 9-11 and 7th/8th grade PRIDE is from 9-10:30. Parents do not stay with their students for PRIDE, just plan on dropping off an picking up out front this morning.  We'll see everyone else tomorrow for the first day of school- 6th grade from 7:55-2:50 and 7th/8th grade from 9:55-2:50.
