We kick off our Tuesday here at Powell with our 8th Grade Honor Roll Assembly at 8 am- parents and guardians of our 8th Grade Honor Roll students are welcome to attend.  Our school day ends with 6th Grade Basketball practice, 8th Grade Basketball playing at Euclid, Follies Maroon rehearsal, AND the following clubs meet: Gamers, Homework and Jazz Band.  Have a terrific Tuesday!

It's finally a MAROON Monday here at Powell, and a busy one too!  7th Grade Boys Basketball kicks off their season with a game against Newton, here at Powell.  Come support your Pumas at their only home game of the season!  We also have Builder's Club, Art Club and Jazz Band.  Have a magnificent Monday!

Honor Roll Assemblies continue here at Powell as we recognize our 7th grade honor roll students today at 8 am- parents and guardians welcome!  After school, our 8th grade boys basketball teams welcome Newton- go Pumas! And both Rubiks Club and Homework Club meet today.

Wednesday, January 25th, 2017

It's a PLC Late Start Wednesday, so school begins at 9:54 and buses run exactly 2 hours later. Students are welcome in the building at 9:30, and both NJHS and Student Council members are not only welcome, but expected, as they meet this morning!  Later this morning we welcome our prospective parents for a tour at 10.  After school, 7th grade boys basketball practices and MathCounts, TSA and GeoBee all meet.  Have a wild Wednesday!

This Tuesday, we begin by celebrating our 6th grade Honor Roll students with an assembly at 8 am- parents and guardians are welcome to attend.  We finish our day here with our 8th grade boys basketball teams welcoming Options, HW Club meeting and the final day of Follies Talent Show auditions.  Have a terrific Tuesday!

This Monday, the 23rd, is the beginning of a BLACK week for us, meaning this Wednesday is another PLC late start day.  Today after school our 6th grade basketball team has practice, spring Art Club begins, and Jazz Band rehearses. Have a magical Monday!

Happy Thursday, Pumas!  It's a busy day here, as we start off by welcoming LPS Superintendent Brian Ewert to our PTO Meeting this morning at 9 am.  Powell parents and guardians are encouraged to join us in the Media Center this morning as we listen to Mr. Ewert's presentation about proposed changes to our PLC days.  Our day wraps up with 7th grade boys basketball practice and Homework and Rubiks Cube clubs.  It's a great (busy!) day to be a Puma!

Today is Tuesday, the 17th, and the beginning of another short white week here at Powell.  A busy Tuesday as well... 6th Grade Basketball begins, 8th Grade Boys Basketball has their first game of the season at Goddard, Brain Bowl meets, and it's the first day of auditions for the Follies talent show.
