Hooray, it's Friday!  The state TSA competition continues today, and tomorrow we have our State Brain Bowl competition at Hamilton MS, and over at Goddard MS, the 8th Grade boys basketball tournament takes place from 8-3.  Hope we have a winning weekend, Pumas!

Thursday already?  Our short week here is flying by!  Today a group of students head out for the State TSA Competition- good luck, Pumas!  We send another group of students, our advanced strings, out to Euclid for advanced district orchestra rehearsal.  Back here at Powell we have 6th grade basketball practice and Homework club both meeting after school.

After a busy Tuesday we're ready for a quiet Wednesday here at Powell!  Since there are no clubs, activities or athletics scheduled after school today there is NO late run bus.  Later tonight, 7 pm to be exact, we have our second, and final, night of February Follies.  Plan on joining us tonight as our Pumas showcase their talents!

Welcome back after your 3 day weekend!  We start our WHITE week here with a busy Tuesday... 6th Grade Basketball practices after school and the following clubs meet: Gamer's, Homework, Comic Book and Jazz Band.  Make sure to come back to Powell later this evening for our first night of February Follies, Powell's annual talent show.  We'll see you at 7 pm!

Today, Thursday the 16th, is a busy one at Powell!  We start our day with our monthly PTO meeting at 9 am, then get ready for an exciting afternoon.  8th grade boys basketball semifinals happen at 3- go Pumas!  Teacher Initiated conferences are happening at 3:30.  Please note that with no clubs today, and conferences taking place, there is NO late run bus.

It's a PLC Late Start Wednesday, so school begins at 9:54 today.  Students are allowed in the building at 9:30 this morning, and Student Council and NJHS members need to be here at that time for their monthly meetings.  After school, stick around for 8th grade boys basketball practice, TSA Club and MathCounts.  Have a wacky Wednesday!

Wowza, it's Wednesday! Our 7th Grade C Basketball Teams scrimmage here after school, the District Spelling Bee takes place in the Cafetorium, and our Jazz Band heads off the Goddard for the LPS Jazz Festival. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
