We're thankful for Thursday! Fitness Finals are back, with the Partner Mile Run this morning. A little later this morning our last elementary students, from Highland and Runyon, come visit. Even later, we have 8th Grade Volleyball semifinals, ColorGuard and Homework Club.

It's our final PLC Late Start of the 2015-16 School Year! School starts at 9:54 today, and buses will run exactly two hours later this morning. Don't forget to donate $1 and wear your Tie Dye today to support our Destination Imagination team! After school, 8th Grade Volleyball plays at Newton. Please note there is NO late bus on PLC days.

Yay, Tuesday! This morning we welcome our little Pumas from Franklin and Sandburg. This afternoon, we welcome Options for an 8th Grade Volleyball game. Clubs meeting today are HW, XC and Jazz Band. Please remember that tomorrow is a PLC Late Start Wednesday, so school starts at 9:54.

Hello Thursday! 7th and 8th Graders continue with CMAS today.  Our April PTO meeting takes place this morning at 9. After school, 8th Grade Volleyball heads to Euclid and the following clubs meet: Color Guard and XC.  Homework Club and Spanish Club will NOT be meeting today. Have a terrific Thursday!

What a busy Wednesday!...7th and 8th Graders will resume CMAS testing this morning with Social Studies and Science (respectively), and later this morning another round of incoming 6th graders will be visiting. Good morning! Fitness finals are back- we have our MILE run today.  We'll stay fit this afternoon with 7th Grade Volleyball practice, 8th Grade Volleyball playing at Newton and Cross Country Club starting today.  Keep those brains in shape by heading to Homework Club after school today.

Happy Friday Pumas!  Today we wrap up our first round of CMAS assessments. Join us tonight for our 1st Annual Powell Movie Night.  We'll be watching The Sandlot. What better way to unwind after a long week than a free night out with your  Powell friends and family. Doors open at 5:30 and the movie begins at 6pm. We'll see you at the movies!

It's a busy Thursday here at Powell, as we continue with CMAS Assessments today. We also have 7th Grade Volleyball Practice and Rubik's Cube Club after school. This evening we welcome our incoming Pumas for 6th Grade Parent Orientation Night: the optional tour of the building begins at 6 pm, and the presentation in the cafeteria begins at 6:30 pm.

This afternoon, we have 8th Grade Volleyball practice, Book Buzz, MathCounts, Color Guard and our monthly PAC meeting.  This evening, incoming 6th graders are encouraged to attend our Instrument Screening night (if they are interested in playing an instrument here next year).  Have a wonderful Wednesday!

It's Tuesday, and it's time for testing.  We begin with our CMAS English/LA assessments today. After our testing day, we have a busy afternoon. 8th Grade Volleyball plays at Goddard- Go Pumas! 7th Grade Volleyball practices here, and Art Club meets. Homework Club will not meet today. We wrap up our evening with a presentation by Clay Abla about the new graduation requirements, in the Cafeteria here at 5:30.  We hope you will join us for an informative evening.
