Monday, September 9, 2013 Black Week

• Happy Monday!  This is a "Black" week and we will start in Block 1.

• Listen up students: It's time to mark your calendars for our first Homework Club meeting of the year! Homework Club begins on Thursday, September 12 from 2:45 - 4:00 p.m. in the library.  The club is open to all students.  Anyone is welcome to join us at anytime throughout the year.  Homework Club is a great opportunity to get your assignments done after school with the help of computers, friends, and a few teachers.  Pay close attention to posters throughout the building, the school calendar on Powell's website, and announcements for future meeting dates.  We hope to see you all there at some point this year.  See Ms. Paul or Mrs. Toland if you have any questions.
• Eighth graders: Dont forget to get your spot  reserved in The Prowl.  Flyers should be filled out and turned into Ms. Manculich in Rm. 127
• Student Council discussions will be happening in CORE Plus this week.
• The first meeting of the Pokemon Club will be this Thursday from 3-4 in Room 206
